STONESHIELD Soffit Slab made from stone mineral wool provides fire-stopping thermal and acoustic insulation within the soffit at the party wall junction.
Stoneshield Soffit Slab is foil faced on both sides, and available in various thicknesses, facilitating thermal resistance values (Approved Document L) and providing resistance to the passage of sound synonymous with stone mineral wool insulation (Approved Document E). It is designed to fill the void within the soffit.
STONESHIELD Soffit Slab complies with building regulations for fire stopping at the pitched roof party wall detail, as well as NHBC 7.2.16.
